Very fast payment of claim. I bought both the item (FM transmitter) and the insurance plan at one time. The transmitter started loosing power after about 2 1/2 years. Within an hour of UPS picking up the package (they supplied the pre-paid label) the money was emailed to me in the form of an Amazon gift card. The amount of the gift card was to the penny what I paid for the item (no deductible, etc). Within the next hour I had ordered a replacement transmitter and was ready to go again (other than waiting for Amazon).

***** I would highly recommend Asurion to cover my important electronics! *****

Customer Questions & Answers

What are the attenuation factors for this cable so i can compare it to lmr-400 ?
Answer: Thank you for your question! This cable loses 0.45 dB per 10 ft on the 800 MHz and 0.7 dB per 10 ft on the 1900 MHz. If you have any other questions that need to be addressed, please feel free to reach back to us at 866-294-1660 or email our online support at support@wilsonelectronics.com.

Thank you and have a great day!

Is this cable the right choice to use with a long range DTV Digital Outdoor HDTV rotor TV antenna?
Answer: – This is the wrong cable for outdoor DTV antennas.. This is a 50 ohm cable, and you would want a 75 ohm cable.. RG6 is normally a good cable. For excessively long runs, you can use RG11 but it costs more and the ends are more expensive, as they require different crimper to install.. RG6 usually covers most DTV applications.

What’s the outer diameter on this cable? Looking to pick up p-clamps to secure it, and want to make sure I’m in the ballpark.
Answer: Hey there! Yes, the diameter of the Wilson-400 cable is 13/32″. If you have any other questions that need to be addressed, please feel free to reach back to us at 866-294-1660 or email our online support at support@wilsonelectronics.com.

Answer: Hi there! I’m showing that the min. bend radius (mm/inch) for Wilson400 is 51mm/2in.

Hi, can this cable be installed outdoors? or it needs to be in a conduit?
Answer: The N-Male connector on the cable is weatherproof, but we still recommend using a conduit.

can the cable survive being buried
Answer: Probably, but I would run it through conduit if I buried it.

Is this cable same as LMR 400 ?
Answer: Thank you for your question! Yes, this is the same as LMR 400.

will this cable connect tp a shakespeare 5215 marine antenna
Answer: Hello! It looks like the antenna is included with a cable that is terminated with an SO 239 connector. The Wilson-400 comes with N-Male connectors so you would need the proper adapter to connect the two.
