That was a shocking discovery as it “enhances” the manufacturer’s warranty for the first year.

So, if you purchase a three year package, you actually only get two more years added to the original manufacturer’s.

Thats crappy and possibly misleading advertising.

Does the TRX-2 separate towers in systems that have many towers?
Answer: The TRX-2 tries, but is not as good as Uniden’s new SDS 100 and SDS 200. The TRX works better as a mobile, or attached to a directional beam antenna unless you’re in a remote location.

Answer: It comes with both AC ( house current) and DC ( 12V automotive) power cables.

It is comparable to all the other FM Discriminator based scanners. Many Simulcast systems are not an issue as you can use a combination of attenuation and antenna position to eliminate several of the more distant towers thus preventing simulcast issues however if you are in a simulcast rich environment, you may want t??
