Top Positive Review

I only buy these for items I suspect may have issued down the road. Never know with electronics and the price is reasonable so for a little piece of mind i went ahead and bought it. However remeberng that i bought it, then figuring which protection plan goes with which item purchased may prove interesting if I use one of them.

Top Critical Review

I went to use my protection plan on a Vizio sound bar. I spoke to a customer service agent. They told me I had to go through the manufacturer. They would do nothing for me. They would offer no assistance. I feel I was bait and switched into paying for something that was protecting my purchase. The company customer service was horrible and argumentative. I spoke with a manager and he was worse. I would not buy this plan for any amount of money.

Customer Questions & Answers

can i pick up cb Chanel 1?
Answer: Yes you can transmit and receive on all 40 channels from 1 to 40

I purchased this handheld as a combo pack with antenna. I can??t find where to plug it in though. Please help?
Answer:

I don’t understand the “combo pack” statement but here goes- I assume you purchased the Pro401 in combination with a ” standard” CB antenna. You are missing a piece then. You will need a BNC/ PL 259 adapter (https://www.amazon.com/DHT-Electronics-coaxial-adapter-female/dp/B00CW5JT58/ref=asc_df_B00CW5JT58/?tag=hyprod-2??

what is the exact range this can be used if indoors like say im in a apartment my brother is like 2 miles away in a house will it go that far?
Answer:

There is NEVER an exact range for radio communication. The FCC rules require that CB’s put out no more than 4 watts. I have accidentally talked to a guy in New Zealand from Ventura, CA and also from there to Florida. Other times you can’t talk across town with the same radio. In your situation, if the two of you are in??

Is there an AC wall adapter for this? It only came with a car adapter, but i would like to plug it into the wall.
Answer: This unit only has the DC adapter. You could try to purchase a DC to AC adapter, and then you would be able to charge/use at home.

Would this be a strong enough cb for listening to close (< 1 mile) truck drivers communicate while on the highway without an added antenna?
Answer: I used this in my Ford 450 hot shot for communicating with my escort car during a wide load. I could hear truckers within 200 feet. I heard my escort car perfectly Behind me over 95 feet. You will hear lots of truckers close by while sitting in traffic. Hope this helps.
