I bought this to get my power strip and plugs off the floor because I have an older dog with dementia who goes under my desk and steps on it or gets stuck in the cords. It’s great to get the power strip off the floor, it is wide enough to hold a double-wide power strip, and it can be mounted to the underside of the desk or to the wall. It does not, however, provide cable management (it’s not meant to) so remember that when you order. You’ll still need other things to manage all the loose cables. The only thing that could use some improvement is that the screws are really super short which is probably fine if you’re screwing it into a solid wood desk or studs, but not the wall directly. I did not use the anchors (my fault – dumb, I know) and quickly pulled it out of the wall when I plugged something in and had to press down to get the plug to go into the socket. Otherwise, the thing itself is great.

Once installed plugs cannot stand upright, had to lay sideways which made these difficult to hide. Also tried fitting a standard surge protector as this is what all plugs plug into. Tried insert into the basket but basket is both too shallow and too short to handle this most basic, yet essential device. Not recommended.
