Ball and socket is useless. You are not able to hand tighten it enough for it to hold. The ipad just falls. I will try to use a pipe wrench for my dads basement and update you guys. If that works then this is worth no more then 11.99. Other wise its worth nothing.

What are the dimensions at its smallest setting

I don’t know the exact dimensions cause I can’t find all my extra parts. I think it will get small enough to hold an iphone and it can get large enough to hold a laptop. I have an HP ENVY and it folds into a tablet and it holds that. I use it with an ipad mini and it works awesome. The company is very hand son and help??

Is the clamp and ball mount removable? I am looking at adding an extension to this if needed.
Answer: Technically, yes. Clamp and ball system are attached to the mechanism that grasps your phone/tablet. But I don??t think an extension would work at that attachment point. The ball mount may have trouble holding the extra weight of your extension material. Consider extending the point you attach this unit to without modifying.

What is the dimension of the screws on the back? I’d like to screw this into a computer screen mount which has holes pre-drilled on a 4″x4″ square.
Answer: The tack form holes are less than 4×4. The holes are set as a rectangle. I don??t have a tape measure where I am, but I would guess the two pairs at 2?? and 1 1/4??. If you could mount a pipe that the tack form could grab… I have two of these and they work perfectly.

Can you use this for a stroller?
Answer: if the stroller has a open push bar i/2 inch diameter or more it will work
