Overall, I definitely recommend this product/insurance. It saved me hundreds of dollars when my camera LCD broke and the repair was relatively fast and hassle-free and i got my camera back almost as good as new.
Communication with the company was a little slow and sometimes I would never receive emails and got very few updates during the process, but it was still a good experience and I would buy and use again!

I have had a bad experience previously, but I’m not sure if I left a review for that one it was a sony camera that just never got fixed after five or six times sending it back. I feel like the same thing is going to happen with my current plan which is for a DJI drone, I am already very upset because I need this drone and its been a couple of months of going back and forth and every time i send it for repair it comes back with the same issue, the camera and gimbal have been replaced but the problem persists. if you wont fix my problem could i get a refund or a replacement? seriously, i need the drone. so if you have an option to get a protection plan somewhere else go for it, oh also also, the website will not recognize my ZIP Code so now I have no idea how I’m going to put in my third claim, thanks Asurion

Is the Digital Zoom worth using at all for larger reach?
Answer: No, crop in post it’s cleaner. Unless you really have to print big and are willing to spend time cleaning it up. There’s not a digital zoom in existence worth using but for most people 20+ mp leaves more than enough cropping space for their printing or posting needs …jmo

What about the time lag between pushing the shutter button and actually taking the picture?

There does not appear to be any lag. Hit the shutter button and you have it. By the way, I am a professional photographer and I owned the original RX100. Did not like it as I felt the lens and/or sensor was simply not sharp enough for my needs. I sold it after 3 months. The Mark 3 is fabulous and Sony has fixed the ??

Does this have a smaller optical zoom than the previous model?

Important to note, that this is a 24-70mm optical lens. But, if you’re feeling adventurous, and you’re willing to produce somewhat softer images, it also has an electronic zoom available, which gives you 4X more. I wouldn’t recommend it, since the image degrades quickly with it, but it is there. You can program the cam??
