Why did I purchase this, one may ask? I’m old school and listen to radio more than off the internet, downloaded music or DVD’s. That said, I have this little “lipstick” size and shape product PACKED with purchased music and podcasts of interest. Whereas Sony put its name on the item, my expectation was that the quality of sound and radio reception would be stellar – Sony came through on both counts. It is easy to understand, easy to use. I find Sony to be far superior to Apple at a fraction of the cost. Why not just listen off one’s cell phone, right? The MP3 player goes everywhere and I don’t need bandwidth or don’t worry about running down my cell phone’s battery. This Sony player recharges by plugging directly into a USB port. Honestly, I can’t figure why these are flying off the shelf. Oh well. Everyone else’s loss, I guess.

I will star out by saying that the sound quality of this player is great. The three stars come in because the usb cap falls off all the time, the music on it when it came was not acceptable(if you buy this for a minor listen first), it takes to much work if you want to listen to something(music or book) in order and I have yet to find a way to skip a song. So I have had this MP3 player for three months and it no longer works. I would not recommend this product.
