The reason for the 4* rating is that this was an open container purchase, but I thought what difference does that make if the discs are all there. However, 3 of the discs had been used, closed with no no info printed on them. So I was basically short at least 3 discs of the 50. There may be more before I get to use them all.

I’ve gotten various speeds with this media. BDR 1-6 x white label. I’ve gotten a few 8x, 6x and now a 4x max. Coming up with power calibration issues many times. El cheapo Viva Star burns at a constant 4 x as it is 1-4 x. Best media is Plex. 6x constant. I can burn SmartBuy at 10x supposedly but it’s never worked. It’s worked with other media though. So far only 1 coaster. When it gives me a power calibration issue it doesn’t even seem to bother burning so no coasters. With other media with that issue sometimes it burns a moment enough to ruin the disc. The Coaster was a power calibration issue about 70 % done

Any idea why these dvds wouldn’t be supported by my pioneer blu-ray dvd burner?
Answer: No idea, every one has worked for me. If you DO have that kind of issue, and already have the discs, then see if there is an update you can download for your burner model. Haven’t seen that kind of thing for ages, but it used to be common.

Answer: The Ones I Bought Were Made To Print Direct To Disc Using Ink Jet Printer So They Were Just aLL wHITE No Name On Disc
