I have been using inkjet printable CD-R’s, DVD-R’s, Dual Layer DVD-R’s and Blu_Ray discs from Smart Buy for well over the last 15 years and I have rarely ever had any coasters. They also print very well.

I am now 20 discs into the 100 disc count and 10 0f the discs were defective. It may be significant that every-other disc is defective. Sounds like some kind of manufacturing problem. The discs come without a spindle. They are totally supported by the shrink wrapping. Handling them once the shrink wrapping is released is a nightmare. All things considered, THIS IS NOT THE GREAT DEAL THAT IT APPEARED TO BE… especially if the 50% defective pattern continues through the remaining 80 discs! Caveat emptor or maybe You get what you pay for.

Is the surface glossy?
Answer: The print is dull and lacks dimension. This is my choice that I am sticking with:

Do these work with lightscribe ?
Answer: No, the :Lightscribe disk has a different top surface. These disks work great for printing on an inkjet printer such as the Epson XP-640.

Does this come with a spindle? If no, does it have a cover?
Answer: Packing: Wrapped Shrink.
It doesn’t come with a spindle/cakbox.

is this hub printable
Answer: Yes. It is white Inkjet Hub Printable
