Answer: Yes,it works.It charges very fast and super-fast data transfer speeds.I love this one.

Can I use this to charge a dell computer from a hub?
Answer: If your HUB provides enough power sure. Which Iam sure wont be possible. Hubs are usually use to transfer data not power. This USB will carry 100W of power if your Hub is capable of pushing upto 100W through a USB port.

We use this with separate powerbank or USB charger not a hub. Just my thoughts.

Will this charge a Macbook Pro M1 pro 14 inch if it’s connected to a power source with a usb-c port using this cable?

What’s the difference between usb c 3.1 gen 1 and usb c 3.1 gen 2?
Answer: As far as I know.The data transmission speed of usb c 3.1 gen 2 is 2x faster than 3.1 gen 1 and it supports video output while 3.1 gen 1 can’t.Hope it helps you.
