After having another SanDisk MP3 player for over 10 years for the gym which still works great but uses 1 AAA battery
I decided to purchase another MP3 player where I did not have to change a triple- A battery every time at the gym.
I went with those slim MP3 players sold under many different sellers & brands, they all have the same cheap OS, complete junk, Lesson Learned.
I then purchased this SanDisk Clip Sport. Amazon’s great shipping it arrived in 2 days. Once I charged it, I loaded it with
MP3 & Windows media player WMA files from my laptop. Much to my disappointment it said unsupported file error on all WMA files. I then found a setting in windows media player to set all newly ripped files to MP3 instead of WMA. I had to re- rip 15 albums. I reloaded the Clip with MP3 files, They all work.

Tip: I never use ear-buds because they never deliver the studio quality bass frequency response I demand.

I have been using them for 11 years. I buy 4 sets at a time, they are so inexpensive & deliver high quality sound unlike similar brands in this price range which are junk. Plugged into the SanDisk Clip you will get the great studio quality response at the gym. I will never purchase another MP3 player brand. SanDisk has great customer support & firmware updates. I wear it clipped to a black armband & have purchased a blue protector case. In short- do not waste time with another MP3 player, Matched with my lightweight Panasonic head phones, this tiny unit packs a Heavy Metal Punch. It looks & works great….Buy It.

I bought this thing several years ago because it was on sale for the holidays. Unfortunately, I waited a year or 2 to load my music onto it. Big mistake. If I had done so sooner I could have sent it back. It tormented me from the very beginning.

The menus were in a strange foreign language and I couldn’t even figure out how to set it to English. I finally downloaded a manual and matched the display to the pictures in the manual. Latvian. Why? Who knows? Maybe it was refurbished? Not sure because I purchased it new. Regardless, once I figured out how to change it to English I could proceed.

It was quick and easy to load my music on here and the sound was actually pretty good. The problem was that each time I charged it the menus got all messed up and I couldn’t get back to “music.” I had to reset it and then it worked. Until it needed to be recharged.

I only went through this a few times because it quickly stopped working. First it refused to turn off. Then it suddenly turned off and on, but the music menu did nothing. I couldn’t reset it or get it to play. Same with other menus. If I wanted to listen to 87.5 FM I was all set, because that’s the only option it gave me.

I really like the Sandisk memory cards and flash drives, so this was a huge disappointment to me. Thankfully I didn’t have a huge financial investment in it. That being said, take whatever money you have and buy the other well known brand that Amazon sells and call it a day.
