This was a really fun game to play, and it was a pretty easy game to earn the Platinum trophy as well. The game looks are plays nicely on the PS Vita. The story is pretty short though, but it’s fairly interesting. There are several difficulty levels to play this game on, so if it seems too easy–you can easily turn up the challenge. Enemy A.I. is pretty predictable, and you can deal with enemies fairly well when you have cover.

The online community for this game is absolutely positively DEAD. If you’re expecting to play any online content whatsoever, forget about it. I’ve literally waited for hours in a lobby hoping players would join me, and it never happened. There’s no interest in this game by players it seems, so be warned–especially if you’re going for the online trophies; You’ll need a friend to help boost you.

Overall this is a good game, and I’m glad that I played it. However, there’s just no replayability in this title after you finish it. It took me about 6 hours to complete the single player campaign, and I spend about another 12 more hours on/off trying to find a person to play with online–which is futile at this point. I recommend getting this game used, or at a discount if you can find it. It’s still fun to play, and if you’re a trophy hunter it’s worth doing.

Top Critical Review

I have been a huge fan of the Resistance series since it launched on PS3. This game did a great job of reminding me of those game, but not in a good way. As I played this I was reminded how good the others were, especially the first two, and how this one paled in comparison.

I’ll quickly list off some issues I have with the campaign:
-Boring story. I found the story quite boring and predictable.
-Boring Guns. Most of them are the same as past games, or slightly tweaked versions of them.
-Enemy AI is terrible. Even on harder difficulties the AI is very dumb, making the game incredibly easy.

As far as the online multiplayer goes I can’t say much about it. I only got into 3 or 4 games because the matching making doesn’t seem to work properly.

If I could I would give this game 2.5 stars, but I rounded up because I love the Resistance series.
If you are a big fan if the Resistance series I might recommend it. Otherwise, stay away.

Does the game comes with Spanish option? (language or subtitle)?
Answer: No, unless you can find a specific copy that has an option for Spanish. This particular copy does not have this option.

Has anyone else had a problem with it freezing during the loading screen?

I would try other resource intense games and if they froze as well, it might be your system, if they won’t, then I would try to run (may be you can borrow from somebody else) a different copy and see if that runs smoothly. I’ve never played any of the other Resistance games. Would it be necessary to play the original trilogy before playing this?
Answer: I treat them all as separate entities from each other. They all have a start and end point so I would not see it to be necessary to play the first trilogy before this one.

The online pass has another expiration date or it is still 3/31/2014 as said by an older review?

I have had games in the past that had an expiration date on online passes and codes. I went to the PS Store and was still able to activate them, regardless of the expiration date. So, all I can say is to try it and it may work. If you do manage to get online, it is pretty fun to play. Very easy though. You will ca??
