I only buy these for items I suspect may have issued down the road. Never know with electronics and the price is reasonable so for a little piece of mind i went ahead and bought it. However remeberng that i bought it, then figuring which protection plan goes with which item purchased may prove interesting if I use one of them.

I went to use my protection plan on a Vizio sound bar. I spoke to a customer service agent. They told me I had to go through the manufacturer. They would do nothing for me. They would offer no assistance. I feel I was bait and switched into paying for something that was protecting my purchase. The company customer service was horrible and argumentative. I spoke with a manager and he was worse. I would not buy this plan for any amount of money.

Answer: Sorry Hollie to take so long in responding. I bought the unit for my Dad, and he states that he watches the movies with it plugged in and charging at the same time. From the day he received the unit until now he’s been well pleased with the product.
