Simple to use, easy to add on phone for any KX-TG954x phone system. Pairing is as easy as holding down the locator button on your base station and following the prompts on the handset when first plugged in. Clear, easy to use and with a nice big display, this is a great cordless phone.

NOTE – you cannot use the phone without an existing KX-TG954x system (ie KX-TG9542B, or KX-TG9543B, KX-TG9544B etc). The base station is what converts from DECT 6.0+ to a copper phone line. This is useless on its own.

I purchased Panasonic relying on their brand name for a high-quality phone that should last for a long time. This is after buying a uniden set that lasted less than a year. I purchased a set with a few additional phones. Out of my four handsets, two are already not working. This most recent handset was purchased as a spare after I mailed in a different one just last week for repair. It is at most two weeks old, and already it constantly goes dead while in use, even though the battery is not dead. I don’t even want to deal with panasonic…. as it is a recent purchase I will probably just send it back to Amazon. Very disappointed with this inferior product from Panasonic.
