To be completely honest: I use these discs primarily for test prints for printing BluRay. For that, they work great. They are as cheap as CDs, so I don’t mind if one or two gets messed up. It’s better than messing up a BD. That said, I have burned a couple discs and they turned out fine. I haven’t gone through the whole stack yet, so I don’t know the percentage of good v. bad discs, but so far the couple I did are good.
My only complaint with this purchase, so far, is the lack of a center stack spindle. I have a bunch of DVDs kicking around, and all have the spindle holding them together. I didn’t realize these didn’t and almost dumped the lot of them on the ground when I opened the plastic after receiving them. It’s a minor issue, though.

Work fine, no coasters, but useless for labeling with any kind of marker, including those recommended for optical discs. There’s a coating, presumably for people with special printers, that makes labeling almost impossible. Mine are going to the thrift shop.

Answer: Yes, it does.
Can i use these to record off of tv? if so, what’s the max hours? the ones i used before i could record up to 6 hours (in the right mode)
Answer: Depending on the mode, these discs should have the same recording capacity as the ones you’ve used in the past. You’ll have 4.7 GB of space, so 2 – 2.5 hours of high quality video should fill the disc. You’ll get more time for lower quality data.
