Love the Assurion protection plan, it was there when I ne??ded it! a word of advice to al you Amazon shoppers… buy the protection plan if you’re buying something expensive even if don’t use it. it’s there if you need it! I needed to use it and my camera was beyond repair so I was issued a full refund in addition to the remainder of the protection plan. It only took 3-5 business days to recieve it. Now I was able to buy a new and better camera!?? I’m a very hapqy and satisfied customer!!!!???????? I also bought the protection plan just in case I have an issue with my new camera. even if I don’t use it, at least I know it’s there if I do n??ed it!!! So don’t forget to buy the protection plan because you never know when the unexpected mi4t happens! I??ve filed a claim twice they say they are going to send email and they never do to send back damaged product. I??ts been 3 months so if you are buying a product buy from somewhere else where Asurion is not the insurance provider because you will be screwed in the end. I work hard for my money as well as you all and not being able to have faith in a insurance company on a product you invested in is bizarre. Thank god I have a great bank and they are investigating this matter !

Answer: I put a 64Gb card in and it works fine. That’s over 9,000 photos.

what is the lens (mm) for UV filter
Answer: I use 40.5mm Hoya filters on my TG-6 and TG-5.

Is image quality better than the tg-4? is the 12 mp image size a step down from the image quality of the tg-4?

I had a TG-4 and now have a TG-6. From my experience and all the reviews I have read, the TG-4 has a very slight edge in image sharpness under bright conditions (i.e. low ISO), but the 12mp cameras have much less noise at higher ISOs which is the bigger advantage since small sensors like in the TG cameras are more pro??

Is it possible to connect a wired remote/trigger to this camera?
Answer: Wired? No. Wireless? Yes. You can connect the TG-6 to your smartphone using the Olympus App. I use it all the time as a view finder and trigger.

What type of cable does it use to charge in camera?
Answer: USB 2.0 Micro-B connector
