I explained the incident. The prepaid shippping label was sent immediately. Asurion confirmed reception 2 days later and kept me updated permanently. 3-4 days later I was told the PC could not be fixed so they would send me a check for the insured value (Surface Pro X – $1,599). Everything was done through chat and email. The experience was better than I could??ve ever imagined. Thank you Asurion!

Submitted a claim 09/16/20. Its 09/25/20. Submitted their requested documentation 5 times and still haven’t gotten further instructions on getting my device repaired. They have a broken repair system that does not make doing business with them easy. $200 for this coverage, so I guess I have to wait for them to get it together.

Finally got my device back Oct 7th 2020. Went to install updates and now it won’t boot. Microsoft tech support is down or just not answering, can’t refile a claim, can’t return, can’t get help with my device. This is what you get when you spend over $1900 on a device.

Never did get a working device. Money for device refunded but lost my money spent on keyboard, pen & case. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 was a bustdown.
