In case you’re wondering what these are for, here’s my use case scenario. During Christmas season, I have a few snow globes that I’d like to display 24/7, however they only take alkaline AA batteries. There are no AC adapters, so they would eat up a lot of batteries. Well, with this nifty accessory, I can now turn my battery only snow globe into AC power. It comes with one main battery connected to the AC adapter, and three AA dummies. If your gadget takes four AA batteries, then you use the main battery and all three dummies. If your gadget takes three AA batteries, then you use the main battery and two dummies. So on, and so forth. These are invaluable. 5-Stars!

Bought these to stop running through batteries on my camera flash (bench studio work / macrophotography). But the Nikon speedlight powers on-off-on-off endlessly. Probably something to do with the 1 amp power supply? I’m sure I’ll find some other use for this, but since it didn’t work for my primary need, I’m giving a middle rating.
