The only thing I have an issue with is the description in the listing on Amazon. It says “hard”, when the case is not hard, and it says “replacement” when it is not replacing anything. The case is made from a slightly flexible fabric-covered but formed material that I’m guessing is plastic. It seems sturdy enough to do the job. The unit fit snugly into the case, and there is room for carrying the cords and earphones. I didn’t get any case with the purchase of the unit, so I don’t see that this is a replacement. I think the issue is the English words chosen by the Chinese seller. I think instead of “hard” they meant “durable” or “sturdy”. Might they have meant “backup” instead of replacement?

I bought this case because the description said it was specifically for my DBPower 10.5?? DVD Player. We really needed a protective case and I didn??t want to risk getting one that didn??t fit.

What I like:
– The DVD player fits like a glove.
– The very deep storage area holds of all the original accessories, plus some.
– The case seems sturdy and well-made, although the zipper is stiff.

What I would have liked:
– More than one zipper, for extra convenience (and insurance, if the one breaks).
– A detachable shoulder strap.
– A two-piece Velcro strap, rather than a one-piece elastic band, to hold the DVD player in place. The elastic band makes the player somewhat difficult to get out of the case, or to use without removing it from the case.

This is a very basic hard shell case. It does its job. But without more or better features, this case is overpriced at $24, especially since there is a slightly larger case (for the 11.5?? COOAU DVD Player) at half the price and with a bit more accessory space.

So yes, our DVD player fits in the case. But its price point leaves me wishing I??d gone a different route. If you don??t mind a couple extra inches of space in your case, plus more versatility, I would recommend going for the slightly larger, but vastly cheaper, one.

Customer Questions & Answers

Is there a case to fit a 12 inch DBPower dvd?
Answer: I like that it gives space for the power chord on the side as well as space for DVD??s. It is a firm case and will give protection, but my only disappointment if I had it is that it is not as ridged the smaller case. The smaller case did not have enough storage and was very difficult to get the DVD player out.

Does case fit & work with dbpower video player model mk101 ?
Answer: No it did not fit

What are the outside dimensions?

Outside dimensions are 8-3/4 inches top to bottom; 10-3/4 inches side to side; 3-1/2 inches deep, not including handle. Note also that the case is not “hard” as stated in the listing, but rather semi-rigid with fabric covering. I think there was a language translation problem on the part of the manufacturer. Perhaps th??
