Unfortunately the metal part you plug into the cellphone, broke. Thought this cable will last for years like other brands. But didn??t last more than 3 months.

The metal part at the end of the cables break off and get stuck inside the charging port of our iPad – this has happened 3 times! We have been able to get the piece out by pure luck 2 times but this third time it is wedged in there and now I have a broken iPad that??s not even a year old!! $500+ down the drain??!!!! I thought I had thrown all the cables out but my kid found one, used it, and now it??s busted inside – rendering the 6 month old iPad unchargeable and useless!! DO NOT BUY!!!

Dear Just Curious, I have no idea about any warranty or disclaimer. Don’t care. I am in and out of my car 20 to 30 times a day. Each in – out cycle requires plugging in and un plugging my cell phone using the apple “stab” connector, as found on one end of the topic cable assy. As a quick math student you can calculate ??
