Great deal for the price and functions. This little DVD player has many options and the video quality looks great. Here are some of the key highlights to this DVD player

1. Plays almost any DVD-R or DVD+R recorded format there is, but will not support Blueray of course.

2. USB and SD Card reader is great for playing movies, but the videos must be in DIVX format, not MP4. If you want to convert video to Divx, I suggest using Wondershare Video Converter. Also note, not every resolution is supported, use standard 480P to convert your videos.

3. Plays NES games. The gamepad must be plugged in the rear USB port, and only works with the gamepad included. You can download your own NES games and put them on an SDCARD, but never every game is supported. I found about 1/3 of the NES collection you might find online won’t work.

4. Built in speakers are plenty loud but you can’t adjust volume during game play.

A few things to note on this DVD player. You should make sure in the setup menu that you have screen setup as 16:9, otherwise your videos will have large black bands on top and bottom. I normally turn off the memory function because it sometimes causes an issue with USB videos. Turn up the Dynamic Range to full, this will produce a better picture quality with compressed videos.

The new portable DVD player works well. It has a great picture and works as I would expect it to. My order was delivered on time and arrived undamaged. My only complaint is the fact that it was not the same thing that was advertised. The screen is only 9?? measured diagonally at most! Even if you measure the entire DVD player case diagonally, it still doesn??t messure up to the 11.5?? as advertised! I??m disappointed but it??s not worth the aggravation, time and money to ship the thing back. The least the seller could do will be to ship the headrest holder to make up for the false advertising!
