Is the Shield braided ?
Answer: Yes. I love this cable. Night and day difference in sound from what I had. In fact, it sounds so good, I??ve replaced my entire Mogami gold cable collection with gls audio cables. They even come with some snazzy Velcro ties to keep everything neat and tidy
Can this cable be used for a subwoofer cable?
Answer: As long as the mixer and the subwoofer have XLR output and input (the connections have to match up) I would think it should be OK.
