I am using the display port on a monitor and the hdmi port on a docking station. it is not working so am thinking of the cable direction incorrectly?

Answer: As long as you have the right ports, the cable will work.

Can I plug two of these into a display port hub as then into the display port on my tower?
Answer: Yes

If i plug the hdmi into my monitor and the display port to my pc will it work? or is it the other way around
Answer: The display port needs to be in your computer, and the the HDMI needs to be your display. That being said I still have issues with it staying connected and ended up returning the item (you have to contact the company directly, it isn’t eligible for return through amazon.)
