Invisi beam Field Disturbance Sensor

Top Positive Review

PROS: this sensor does the job no doubt. If you get anywhere near the vehicle it will let you know that the vehicle is protected with a warning chirp. It also sends a signal to my remote that tells me that the warning signal has been executed. Nice
CONS: It’s not really easy to adjust. There is two screws for tuning and one says factory only and the other is for the users discretion. Now if you adjust it and you feel happy with it, don’t get to comfortable because it will change on you. Youu ha e to keep it where you can get to it or else you’ll be in a dual tone sensor nightmare. It’s really hard to get it to where it will safely ward off criminals and at the same time not be so sensitive that a loud car or helicopter will not set it off. There is a fine line. So I found myself putting it in valet mode way to much because of the two work I g against each other with motion and sound. So I nasi ally didn’t have an alarm when I was in a busy or loud area. Like a show or concert or something. If the alarm goes off to much while your away then your taking a chance on getting stuck due to the battery dying from the headlights and siren going off. Not to mention it’s very annoying at my house. I live on a dead end street where cars turn around frequently and it’s always going off. So now I don’t use it until I can figure out how to make it work right. It’s been a real pain in the ass. So that’s my story. The directions were non existent. So that was out the window. Oh well

The only thing I can count on this alarm to do is to drive my neighbors crazy at all hours. It doesn’t work like it’s supposed to. It’s been nothing but a hassle. I guess I shouldn’t be all that shocked based on how little I paid for it. You get what you pay for. Oh and I’m pretty sure that it killed my 2017 Jeep’s battery. I’ve changed the settings on the motion detection several times, to the point where you have to be inside the vehicle to set it off. Yet it randomly goes off for no reason. There’s no motion in or around it, no animals, no people near it, no rain, no wind, nothing, yet there goes the alarm! It has a mind of its own. Sometimes it goes off when someone is 5 feet away from it. Other times I get inside the Jeep, sit down and start fidgeting with things and the alarm stays completely silent. I went out of town for my work for 3 days and left it in a warehouse parking lot at my work. I made sure it wasn’t near any other cars so nothing would set it off. Yet when I got back, I had complaints from workers inside the building saying it went off randomly day and night during those 3 days. A couple days later and my battery was completely dead and had to be replaced.
