This 10 pin composite video cable does exactly what its intended use is supposed to be. It plugs into a 10 pin output similar to a 7 pin S-Video output. In my case, I plugged it into the A/V output of a DirecTV satellite box. It outputs video, audio left, and audio right signals through RCA plugs. I plugged those three outputs into my DVD-Recorder. It worked, and it continues to work a week later. The dongle itself appears to be made well. It’s not super, high quality, professional-type gear. It’s made well enough for home applications, where it’s not expected to be plugged and unplugged repeatedly. This item should give years of use, if one doesn’t subject it to intense straining during its lifetime.

Decent cable at best. Exactly the same model as the more expensive Cimple one. It’s hard anymore to get a real good composite cable. This kind is about the only type you can get. It’s average at best but gets he job done, for what that’s worth.
