Honestly, I was really skeptical about the quality and functionality of this mount because of the price but let me tell you…I am shocked. No wonder this thing has such a great rating. Go ahead and buy a few while you’re at it. I have 3 of them in each of my cars. It holds my phone no matter the orientation and I haven’t had an issue with the phone slipping at all. My only issue so far has been the tightening screw that adjusts the orientation but I figured that it was my fault. I tightened the screw pretty tight but was scared to overtighten it because it’s plastic. Vibration cause the screw to come a bit loose and the phone flopped around. I tightened it pretty tight the second time and haven’t had an issue since. Go ahead and buy it. I researched a few mounts before buying this and compared the reviews…this was the definite winner.

I bought this for my iPhone 6s based on tons of 5star reviews. I really don??t understand why so many people have given 5 stars to such a poor-made product. It constantly falls off! The clip became loose after a day of using. It simply can not keep the mount attached to the air vent! That is incredibly annoying when the phone falls off after every bump! It can??t carry the weight of the phone.
I would NOT recommend this product.

Will it fit if you have a pop socket on your phone?
Answer: The pop socket that is attached to the back of phones for grip is on my phone to the back of the case. Although it doesn’t fit snuggly, it fit; however, it’s hard to manuever and doesn’t fit my vents well.

Are those reviews really real ? seems so fake
Answer:

I dk what reviews are fake or real, but I do know this product works very well! There is a convenient release button on the back that springs open the sides and allows an easy removal of the phone, which (when squeezed) has a ratchet system to hug the phone when you are ready to use it again. I have an otter box on my iphone 6s plus. Will the mount still fit?
Answer:

I have an iPhone 8 plus with a Spigen Herringbone case and Ring holder on the back and have been using this holder for a year now with no issues. Yes, the phone does not fit perfectly in to the holder and does stick out but there is still enough grip from the sides and with it tilted up to my view point in my car, Mazd??

the air vent directional controls on my 2010 Scion xB are thicker than most, anyone have experience with this fitting/not fitting?
Answer: I have a 2009 Saab 9-3 with air vents that form a grid pattern, this does not fit within the space of the grids, so I cannot use it.

does it fit on a Subaru Forester?
Answer: if you have a vent it will fit. The price is write for this and have in all my cars
