A couple years ago I purchased a new computer and along with it purchased the Asurion plan. That is something I normally don??t do. Boy was I glad I did! After about a year I had a problem with my computer. I called Asurion and the young man who took my call was so nice and so helpful. We couldn??t get the computer working correctly so the rep sent me a box to mail the computer in for repairs. I received my computer back in about 8 days and it is still working great! I was so surprised at how quickly it was done and was sent back. Well worth it for my computer ??

It states 24-7 tech support installation assistance etc. The man on the other line stated tgey only assist w/hardware and return issues. Told me to contact the camera manufacturer for any set up /connectivity problems. Yet that is why I got it. I am “older” do not understand technology. Tbe Amazon people were extremely nice. Opened up this and the Amazon man said sure enough I’m reading it also, THEY SHOULD HAVE ASSISTED YOU W/ANY IF YOUR ISSUES AS STATED. NOT AMAZON, NOT “CONTACT THE MAKER OF THE CAMERA”? THUS DO NOT GET THIS UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO EXTEND THE WARRENTY OF THE CAMERA. WHICH MOST CREDIT CARDS YOU USE NOW DAYS DOUBLES THE WARRENTY ANYWAY?..ALSO THE MAN WAS EXTREMELY RUDE MAKING ME FEEL SUPER STUPID. NO THANK YOU. THEY ARE MISREPRESENTING THEMSELVES

Answer: Either speak with Amazon directly and confirm that the AC adapter comes with the radio or consider calling C. Crane and make the purchase through them.

How to 1st charge battery pack included after I get it.. I’ll use the radio in Dynamo mode.
Answer: My battery pack was already charged up when I bought the radio. It will keep charged with the use of an adaptor. I recommend using good rechargeable AA or AC power only for daily use as the included battery pack is there for emergency backup.

If you have installed rechargable AA batteries in the radio, can they be left in while using the solar panel to recharge the lithium-ion battery pack?

The rechargeable AA batteries do not charge by crank, solar or wall brick. All the charging is for the three battery pack, which plugs in. You actually have two sets of batteries. I keep the battery pack as a backup, and I charge them by the wall brick overnight periodically. For the removable AA??s (3) I use Enloop rec??

Call the NWS forecast office in New Braunfels. It is possible they may have moved the location of the transmitter or changed the transmit power. If so, that will affect your ability to receive the station. Also check the other NWS channels. The transmit frequency may have been changed. Depending on your location, an ex??
