This block came in an Apple box and looks exactly like the Apple OEM product that came with my iPhone. I had to replace mine, because I ??let somebody borrow it at work…?? and we all know how that goes. It does not overheat and charges the iPhone 7 in about the same time as any other chargers I use. It definitely appeared to be new and unused (not refurbished). The price was better than what I would have paid by going through the manufacturer. I??m happy with it and would definitely purchase again.

Picture is not the best, apologies am on the train. It does not look nor feel like ??Apple?? quality and when I initially received it, when I attempted to return it right away my suspicions were confirmed when I found I could not. Nowhere does it mention where it is made. I can guess though in speculation.

Is this the oem for this charger? is it truly made by apple?
Answer: The one I received was from Apple and was appropriate for the iPhone 7 my Mom was using which is who I bought it for and she is happy with it. If you have a later iPhone or other device you might consider the 18W USB-C for faster charging but you must confirm it would be compatible with the devices you want to use it on.

Does this work for kindle paperwhite?
Answer: Yes, I use my Apple block for my kindle cord all the time and it works great.

Does this item original ? i mean it is same in apple store ?
Answer: No it is not. It is a waste of money and my time ordering this junk and returning it. Cube heated to hot! Same on cord and iPhone. Do not buy this. It??s a scam.

Does it come with a cord?
Answer: No. Adapter only

Will it charge an Iphone 3g?
Answer: this can charge any iPhone that has anything on it (common sense)

Does it fit a round flat charger pad?
Answer: You don’t need a charger like this if you have a charger pad. You lay your device directly on the charging pad.
