I wanted to hook up my new TV to my Bose Wave radio to use it as a soundbar. The Bose is old enough that it still used the older RCA input jacks, Using this cable by connecting it to my headphone out audio jack on the TV to my radio worked like a charm. Now I get to watch TV with glorious Bose stereo sound.

So I got these cables as to cut and wire in RCA connectors. I was pleased to discover that the cables had dual sheilded coax internally. That is two coax wires AND wires around them for shielding. However when I check with ohm meter I found that the coax wires were not used, basically both sides of the coax were hooked up to the center pin on the RCA. Then outer metal shielding is the ground. This is not a big problem it is just funny they paid extra for the coax wires and then did not use them.

I bet they originally was going to use the coax wiring, but then it cost too much in manufacturing to solder up the coax and they switched.

Answer: Yes you should be able too. I have an old song stereo receiver and I can plug that in and have surround sound, but you would have to have it as a multichannel. Since it??s just a single headphone jack

Answer: This is a stereo cable. Your speaker would need to have 2 RCA Jacks and your projector needs to be stereo. Otherwise you may lose one channel. Without knowing your equipment I would have to say read your manuals. You may need a mono cable.

Do these work with banana plugs?
Answer: No, these are for female RCA receptacles. Banana plugs are for amps with high output. Banana plugs plug into female threaded stems on the back of amplifiers.

can these be used for TV to speaker?
Answer: Yes. As long as your TV HAS A 3.5 OUTPUT.
