How long does the post measure at it??s shortest height, in inches?
Answer: Approximately 11 inches when set for its lowest height, measured to the top of the upper curved arm. The bracket itself would stick up higher. With the bracket oriented landscape, total is about 12 inches, and for portrait, just over 13 inches.

Do the clamps stay open until the ipad is placed in? I had one that was elastic and required both hands to hold clamps open and couldn’t place ipad in
Answer: Before you put the iPad on, you can easily open the clip. Don’t worry about the elasticity and difficult to put on the iPad.In order to maintain a stable clamping of the equipment, we designed it to be relatively tight, but it does not affect the installation.

Does this angle down? I do yoga and need it to tilt down towards the floor.
Answer: It can be bent down, but the length of the bendable part is limited, so it cannot reach the floor.

What about the iphone 13 pro max?
Answer: The stand that I have was purchased to fit a IPad 12?? Tablet. The IPhone 13 is too small. Purchased one for the IPhone 13.
