I had an inkling when I opened the box and saw that this item had obviously already been returned once. The base and top were covered in greasy fingerprints, with the bolt and hex wrench rolling around loose in the box (which was also damaged outside and partially torn inside).

I could’ve overlooked all that if the stand actually worked as described. The bolt would not catch in the threads to connect the top and bottom; it just spun loosely and wouldn’t tighten.

The top arm does swivel, but even in its lowest angle the phone was not vertical. It stayed tilted back slightly, skewing the front facing camera so that your head looks tiny and your body looks stretched.

Finally, the stand would not accommodate my phone with a Popsocket or Casemate hard case on. I have the newest OnePlus Pro, which is very slim even in the case (and we’re not talking huge OtterBox). There is no opening at the back of the stand for a Popsocket or ring to go through, and the case doesn’t fit down inside the arms at the bottom.

Bottom line: nothing about this item worked as advertised. I went for a simpler metal bracket-style stand that might not have telescopic height adjustment, but stands completely vertical, adjusts to various angles, was cheaper but more sturdy, and most importantly, actually fits my phone complete with case and ring or Popsocket.

My question is like how long will the swivel part of the stand will last before it starts to loosen up and not work anymore. Can anybody answer this?
Answer: Ive had this for 3-4 years now and works like the first day. I. Recommend it and have given it as a present to relativas.

On the product pictures it says rotatle, what does (rotatle) but stable means? check the spelling and get it fixed.
Answer: “Stable” most likely refers to the fact that no matter what angle you put the phone at the base is stable and it won’t tip. Also note whatever position you adjust the tilt to it stays perfectly in place yet it is easy to reposition.

Can anyone tell how does the “adjustment” work? Is thete any button to press?
Answer: No, no buttons to press. It is a friction fit so you just adjust to the angle desired. I have had mine (2 of them) for about 2 months now and so far they have stayed snug and easily hold their angle (until you adjust to a different angle).

I need this to stand straight up (as if recording a video) while my charger and headphones are plugged into it. will it do that? (iphone 6s plus)
Answer: You DO realize that an iPhone 6+ DOES NOT charge wirelessly, right? And the charging stand doesn??t allow your phone to stand at a 90* degree vertical position.
