Okay so I hooked it up to my PS5 and I didn??t notice a difference at alllll, I was annoyed actually because the HDMI 2.0 it comes with didn??t support my 4K TV and the image was stretched and blurry despite tampering with my TV settings for literal days not knowing it wasn??t my TV but the PlayStation. So I bought an 2.1 after researching what it would do and when I hooked it up there was no difference. So I reset my TV, my PlayStation and then switched to Game settings and it was definitely a game changer! The image is just how it should be, no longer stretched and blurry. It fully supports 120hz/120 frame gameplay. ITS WORTH IT!! ??so happy. Especially cause I was not only gonna return the cable but also my TV ??.

I bought this cable to connect my HDMI 2.1 compatible TV to my HDMI 2.1 compatible 3080 graphics card. It would flicker occasionally, but with a lot of news going around about defective 30 series cards, I thought it was my card’s fault, as my displayport connected monitors would have the same issue. But after replacing the displayport cables per a forum post’s recommendation, the flicker is gone. Meaning this cable, that says it’s rated for 48Gbps/HDMI 2.1 in the product description, is not actually rated for 2.1.

Go buy something else if you’re needing an actual HDMI 2.1 cable.
