I needed a long cable at a good price to run along the baseboards of the wall to relocate the TV in a room. Local store prices for a 50ft cord was a bit higher than Amazon. This cable works pretty good and it was long enough to reach where I needed it to go. The wire is definitely strong and not flimsy like others out there. It doesn’t bend easily which I guess is a good thing. I did notice a minor change in the quality of some of the cable channels…mainly the analog ones. They are slightly snowy and not as sharp as it was with the previous wiring from the cable company. Not really a deal breaker. However, the Digital/HD channels are crystal clear!

This product is ok, but if you don’t have a good splitting and crimping tool then you’ll get a lot of sticky and waxy foil all over your fingers and tool. It makes a mess. Then you’ll get a ton of small and sharp wires everywhere. And with the sticky foil those pointy wires will stick to everything. Maybe I just need a better crimping tool, one that is more than $20. Then maybe this coax cable would have a better review.

Answer: Yes I think it would be great quality for that! It has great connectors and large Gage cable!!

How long is this cable?
Answer: It’s really 50 feet long.

Can cable be only 10 foot +/- long ?
Answer: This cable is premise at 50 feet. You can buy 10 foot RG 6 cable

Does this have black printing on it?
Answer: It does have labeling. But not across the entire length and minimal. We have secured it along baseboards and stopped noticing it.

Can this be used for a converter box
Answer: Depends on what you are converting. There are all types of converters. If its a DtA box then as long as the output takes an F connector then yes

Does this work on Internet modems?
Answer: Yes, it does. I use it on comcast internet modems.

I need to move directv box to other side of house. Will this replace short coaxial from satelllite to box?
Answer: If you examine the cable that you presently use, you will see an RG number printed on it. If that number is also RG6, this coaxial cable should be a direct replacement.

Can I take out the Metal connector and put it back? Is it like a screw?
Answer: Removing the connector may damage the cable. You can go to Home Depot and but the cable and connectors seperate.
